Describe current and future chair demand
List installed treatment units, the number expected to operate simultaneously and any planned expansion. Identify the treatment-unit models and attach their utility requirements. Distinguish chairs being installed now from future positions that only need provision in the design.
Durr Dental describes air and suction infrastructure around clinic requirements and offers dry and semi-dry suction arrangements. Ask the proposed supplier to identify the intended arrangement and explain its compatibility with your treatment units and building services. Chair count is an input to this review, not a complete equipment specification.

Make the plant room part of the enquiry
Share a dimensioned room sketch, photographs and the proposed equipment positions. Identify doorway widths, access restrictions and the route from unloading to installation. State available electrical services, ventilation arrangements and proximity to spaces where noise matters, then ask for model-specific installation requirements.
Mark the proposed air and suction connection points on the layout, with available information about existing pipework and drains. Ask who will inspect and accept these services before installation. For a replacement project, clarify whether the quotation assumes reuse of the current connections or includes investigation of their suitability.
Ask what the quoted package contains
Request exact proposed models and an itemised accessory list. Ask the supplier to identify required air treatment, receivers, filtration, suction separation and control components for the proposed system, and explain which are included. Record any assumptions that must be resolved before an order.
Separate delivery, positioning, connection, commissioning and operator handover. Allocate responsibility for electrical work, pipework changes and removal of existing equipment. If the clinic needs continuity during the changeover, request a proposed sequence and downtime estimate for review instead of assuming a replacement can happen between appointments.
Compare support and handover details
Ask for operating manuals, maintenance requirements, consumable references and access clearances for future service. Clarify warranty terms and the process for reporting faults. Any requested response time, backup arrangement or support outside normal hours should be explicitly accepted in the offer.
Arabian Labs' dental air compressors and dental suction units are quote-on-request ranges; final models are specified in the quotation. For GCC projects beyond the UAE, agree installation scope, travel and delivery logistics for the named site.
Example enquiry to adapt
We are fitting out a three-chair clinic in Abu Dhabi with space reserved for a fourth chair. Two chairs are expected to operate concurrently at opening. Attached are the treatment-unit utility sheets, room drawing and proposed service connections. Please propose compressor and suction equipment, explaining the capacity assumptions and future expansion provision.
Please list accessories, building work exclusions, commissioning checks and handover documents. Identify any site survey needed before the equipment selection and installation programme can be confirmed.
Your enquiry checklist
- Installed chairs, simultaneous use and planned expansion.
- Treatment-unit models and utility requirement sheets.
- Plant-room dimensions, access route and building services.
- Exact models, accessories and installation responsibility.
- Commissioning, documentation, warranty and support terms.
Put the checklist to work.
Send your equipment details, location and required work. We review UAE enquiries first; GCC visits are arranged around the scope, travel and logistics.
